The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) anticipates a need for a 70% or greater rise in food production by 2050 to meet the demands of a growing global population. Consequently, research and development in lab-grown meat are being actively pursued to tackle this imminent challenge.
Although consumer skepticism persists due to cost and uncertainties about taste and health implications, it’s crucial to acknowledge that lab-grown meat holds potential as a viable solution to address food security concerns.
In the face of limited information, it’s worth acknowledging the potential of lab-grown meat to offer a promising pathway toward resolving food security challenges.
